QUB
SMART CONTROLLER
It is a controller that can communicate with both children and the environments in which they live. "Qub", in fact, is able to provide security, relax, let the children go wild, teach them some wheels and give them the right tools to become autonomous, so that they can grow with the right values and the right empathy. I and other designers, we realized that the massive use of technology is slowly taking away the emotions and relationships (human) that are particularly important during growth. This project therefore adopts a vision towards a future with the presence of a non-invasive technology, but useful for human relationships and lifestyles.
Using qub (which is our controller), we can interact with the environment within our room / s system; thanks to a special wallpaper. From it the child can cut out pieces and create a layout in his room. At that point qub is used to manage sounds and lights, which our wallpaper is able to emit. The room then becomes much more versatile and manages to get in much more contact with the child. The environment and the atmosphere will be versatile, depending on the need and will help children, and parents to maintain a more balanced relationship.
